Speaker: Steve Densley President CEO Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce
Popular public speaker, Steve Densley is the longest sitting Chamber President in the State of Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University where he played football. Steve is on the State Chamber Board of Directors where he has served three times as state president. He was presented the Distinguished Alumni Award at Brigham Young University in 2008 and the Mayors Medal of Honor in 2009. He was presented the Utah Trail Blazer Award by Utah Business Magazine and was honored by the Utah National Parks Councils Highest award, the Silver Beaver Award. Steve has a nightly TV Show now in its fifth year called Taking Care of Business on Channel 17 and on UVU Channel 16. He has had several radio shows and is now in his 20 year of writing a weekly news column for the Daily Herald. He was published nationally in Chicken Soup for the Soul. Steve currently sits on the Sundance Film Festival Board, is President of the Provo Rotary Club, Utah Valley University Community Relations Board and Business Resource Board, Pacific States Pipe Advisory Board, Prosperity 2020 State Board, BSA Executive Board and numerous others. His wife Colleen is Utah’s former Teacher of the Year and currently is the Principal of Wasatch Elementary School in Provo. They have 6 children and 15 grandchildren. |
