Grand Marshals

Brad and Jan Gordon, Grand Marshals 2011

Brad and Jan Gordon have lived in Salem since 1980. They are the parents of four children, Heath, Clark, Paige and Annie, who were all raised here. All of their children are married to wonderful spouses who were raised locally as well. They are the proud grandparents of eleven exceptional grandchildren.

They love living in this beautiful community where they have had many opportunities to serve. Jan has been actively involved in Salem Days where she has served as the chairman for the Salem Days parade, Baby Contest and Fun Run. She was very honored to receive the 'Volunteer of the Year' award.

She co-directed the Miss Salem and Junior Miss programs for many years and was co-director for the very first Youth Council organization.

Brad has spent many hours volunteering as a coach in the baseball and basketball programs and has served on various committees in the community. He is always lending a helping hand to good neighbors and friends. He is honored to serve as a councilor in the recently called Salem Stake Presidency.

Their greatest joy is their family and home, where they enjoy the beauty of Salem Pond every single day. There is no better place to call HOME!

They are humbled and grateful to be given this honor.
