SALEM CITY is now accepting applications for employment as a Police Officer at the Salem City Office, 30 West 100 South, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applications will be accepted until July 6, 2007.
POLICE OFFICER: This position reports directly to the Salem City Chief of Police. The candidate needs to be Utah Peace Officer Standard and Training (POST) certified or certifiable as a Category I Peace Officer. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of Police practices and be willing to dedicate his or herself to public service in a progressive rural community. The salary is somewhat negotiable depending on previous experience and demonstrated ability. (EOE)
